3. Architecture
The product is an executing system for gene test management, running on Microsoft .NET platform. With a view to user's operating mainly in Lan environment, high security and quick response, the system architecture is based on a 2 layer structure, i.e. client application + server in the background. Detailed architecture is shown as followings:

Database software and server software are deployed on the database server, while the client application is deployed on the client terminal. Suggest configuring a backup server in order to protect the business data.
